Council asked City Secretary to gather information to present to council concerning cost, SO council could make decision at next month meeting. Safire spoke to the council about the upcoming Farmer's Market & asked if John, who sells produce but has decided to not participate in Farmer's Market, could sell on the southwest corner of square like last year. Items from Council: Mayor Carr updated council on current Garrison Street issues. Our engineering firm came back with pricing for the overall project. Total cost is currently around $800K. This cost will increase due to a missing culvert in the proposal. The city can'tafford the engineers' proposal. Matt James ofl Precision Terrain is one of the landowners being affected by the water erosion from the Frankston ISD construction of approximately 10 years ago. Mr. James offered to donate dirt from his property to help lower cost of phases. Each phase would be its on individual project under 50K. With this plan, the city could afford to get Garrison fixed in a relatively short period of time. Our engineers met with Mr. James of Precision Terrain and reviewed the plans. The mayor asked for the council's permission and approval to phase the project out over financially manageable phases and to hire Precision Terrain to move forward. All council members agreed this was the best option and all council members present agreed to hire Precision Terrain. The mayor and council directed City Secretary Kelli D. Casey to coordinate with Mr. Matt James to start work. 10. Announcements: 9.
