MINUTES REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING CITY OF CRANDALL, TEXAS Court Chambers - Police & Municipal Court Building 104 East Trunk a Crandall, Texas 75114 Monday a June 3, 2024 At 6:00 p.m. Mayor = David Lindsey Council Member = Tim Atkins Council Member - Scott Rogers Council Member - Caleb Allen City Manager - Jerry Dean Council Member - Katy' Vaughan Council Member = Adam Holden REGULAR MEETING 1. Open Meeting, Invocation, Pledge of Allegiance- Mayor Lindsey called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm and led the invocation, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. 2. Roll Call- Mayor Lindsey conducted roll call. Councimember Holden was absent. Consent Agenda A. Consider and act on approval of City Council Minutes: 05/20/2024 Councilmember Atkins made a motion to approve the consent agenda. Councilmember Vaughan seconded the motion. Administer the Oath of Office, Statement of Elected Official and City Secretary Sabrina Del Bosque conducted the Oath of Office individually on Councimember Scott Rogers. Councilmember Rogers signed his Oath Consider and act on the Daughters of the American Revolution Councilmember Vaughan read the Daughters of the American Revolution Election Certificate to Councilmember Scott Rogers- of Office and Statement of Elected Official paperwork. 9. Discuss Planning and Zoning applications received- The City Manager provided the Council with an update on the applications received to date. The City Manager stated that three terms of places on the Planning and Zoning Commission place expire on June 30, 2024, and will be on the July 1, 2024, agenda to be considered for reappointment. 13. Discuss and receive input from North Texas Water Municipal Water The City Manager discussed key changes and updates required by the North Texas Municipal Water District. The City Manager stated that he will propose recommendations on a tiered water rate structure. Discuss and consider the FY2024-2025 budget- The City Manager discussed the proposed FY2024-2025 budget. The Council requested the City Manager schedule a Budget Workshop to District on water conservation- 14. discuss the FY2024-2025 budget. Adjourn into Executive Session- carried out with a unanimous vote of 4-0. 15. Councilmember Rogers made a motion to adjourn into executive session at 7:00 pm. Councimember Atkins seconded the motion.
