I'm sure there is more. Edenton Public Works purchased a root cutter machine to help clean storm drains ini town. PW has corrected a St. Ann Catholic Church replaced 1 storm water catch basin and replaced 401 feet of pipe that was broken that flooding issue on Johnson Street (drain was completely blocked with tree roots). was causing flooding in that area. Kimberly drive replaced 120 feet storm drain pipe. Cotton Mill (Elliott Street) Installed a drain box and installed 60 feet of drain pipe. DOT replaced and repaired several storm drain boxes. DOT replaced 60-inch pipe on North Broad Street West Church installed 160 feet of new pipe to help with flooding in that area. PW has worked and cleaned out fall ditches to help with flooding, ditches that havé been cleaned are located on North Broad, Oakdale, MLK Cleaned drainage opening at ditch on Twiddy ave. Closed it ditches on Paxton Lane, installed approximately 2100 feet of drainage pipe and installed catch drain boxes. Edenton purchased a new side arm mower to help better maintain drainage ditches. Installed (2) new 60-inch sticks of pipe on Old Hertford Road to help with drainage on that part of town. Installed 120 feet of 15-inch pipe on Boswell and (2) catch basins.
