As the officei is no longer in use, he doesn't feel we need ther meters any longer. Currently, we only receive approximately $10 annually from them. Hei then went ont to say, that he had a meeting witht thel DuBois Downtown Group andt they requested some metered parking at the Elk'sLot. So, we would like tot take six to eight oft ther meters andi install them down at the Elk's Parking Lots sot that people can stills short term park while in thes stores located on S. Brady Street. Councilwoman Bernardo feels that our Parking Permits are dirt cheap. City Manager - John "Herm" Suplizio Manager Suplizio wanted to go off of what Mayor Walsh was saying. His example was thel ball fields, fort threey years there was no charge for our local teams to usei it; last he wei implemented: a $10 per game fee. In2021 we're discussing raising thei fee Parking Permits - Next Wednesday we are going tol have our officers put out warnings on cars parkedi int the Elk'sLot. We will only have warnings oni fora af few days andi thent the fines willb begin. To parki in ap permit only parking lott thei fine is $50. to $15. Slow and steady.
