Fireworks  City Manager Suplizio stated he hadr received ane email from a resident complaining about fireworks going off day andr night upsetting her pets. She would like the Cityt to do something abouti it. Aftera a little researchi it was found that thes state is revamping their fireworks law andy we as ar municipal cannot draft an ordinance withs stronger restrictions. It looks likef fireworks will bep prohibited before 10 a.m. and after 101 p.m. with the exception of July 2-4a and December 31st which willa allow detonation untilia a.m. Suplizio suggested ifs she Ribbon Cutting @ Penn Highlands East - Stern Center for Behavioral Health - July: 25th @4 Informational - The City Manager believes he and the Mayor will attend; all of Council is Awarded Granti for Traffic Safety - Upgrade light at Park & Brady ST- $488,000 The City! has been awarded a grant through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Green! Light Gop program tol help alleviate congestion and traffic flow. City Manager Suplizio stated that this will totally modernize the signal at that intersection. Maple Avenue is now open to Fourth Street. Currently they are working on Fifth through Tenth: Street. Hopefully they will be able to pave in two weeks and the project should be Thel bids for the second half of the project should come in Monday; we'rel hoping we can Wel have received a $720,000 grant to clean thes silt out of the Sandy Lick Creek and build up  hears them outside oft those limitations, she should contact the City police.  p.m. invited. Currentlyt the reservoir is down7"; we are at thes same level we were on August 14,2021.  Ordered the Police Department equipment for the drug taski force. Zacl Lawhead - Code Enforcement/Zoning: Officer  Really busy, just went andl helped the Police Department in Reynoldsville.  Shout out to thei firefighters. She went and watched them, the Police Department, and He was glad tos see how well Sandy and DuBois' firefighters worked together. It was really Concerning the waterline break, great. Job to our crew. He didn't feel that County Control dida ag good jobl letting people know. He askedi if there was anything that Council could dot to help. Engineer Nasuti stated that we have our own notification, testing, and processes  EMS ast they battled thet threel houset fire on' Wilson Avenue.  good to see.  system.
