City Manager Suplizio tried to answer: some of Ms. Hess' questions: Hee explained that there! has beena al lot ofv work done and there is stilla al lot ofv work to do. Hes statedt thatt the City didn't have a choice, it was mandated by Penn DOT tor replace the Thev valveh has beenr replaced; it didn'tr make sense to replacei it until the new line was inj place. The oldl line was one hundred plus years old and tor not replace it wheny we were replacing the Wel hadi tor replace several (approx. 160)l lead service lines, whiche entails tyingi in all the laterals. Itv will probably bea at few more weeks before thisi is completed. Because not only does this affect Park: and Maple, ita also affects several others streets; such as, Church Stockdale, etc. Not sure we're even half way done with thel laterals. Oncet the waterline is completely done, we will begin working on curbing ands storm drains, then we dig down 18" and replace ther road putting a new base coat down.
