CITY OF BRUNDIDGE  RECREATIONAL - TRAILS PROGRAM Project No. 22-RT-53-01  AMENDMENT RESOLUTION No. 2024-02  WHEREAS, the Recreational Trails Program (RTP) was created in 1998 and is funded through the U.S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration to provide grant assistance to State and Federal agencies and local units of government for the acquisition and/or development/Iprovement of recreational trails and trail WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge had been awarded RTP Funds in the amount of $200,000 from the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, RTP Program for assistance and was to provide $144,795.36 in local match funds to improve and expand WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge submitted Formal Amendment #1 to ADECA for the removal of all items related to constructing a new parking lot from the scope of the WHEREAS, under terms and provisions of Recreational Trails Program, the City of Brundidge is required to adjust the. amount of local match required due to the grant-  related resources; and  the recreational trail and support facilities at Ramage Park; and  project,  match ratio.  NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City of Brundidge, as follows:  THAT, the State of Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs, has awarded the City of Brundidge $151,081.24 in Recreational Trail Program funds; and THAT, based on the grant/match ratio of 58.01%/41.99%, the City of Brundidge hereby commits to provide cash andi in-kind resources to complete the projecti in the amount of BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Brundidge understands that it will comply with all rules and regulations of the Recreational Trails Program, applicable Executive Orders and all state laws that govern the grant during the performance of the project.
