June 3rdt they would like tou uset theA Amphitheater, then go over tot the Parkside Community Center fora a street dance. Theya arer requesting use of thes stage; West Park Avenue from Liberty Blvd to N.J Jared St. closedi tot traffic at5 51 p.m. for the street dance. Then on Saturday, June 4, they would like to close W. Councilwoman Bernardo didr noti feel that Council should approve this item prior toi the proper Mayor Walshe explained tol Ms. Clements that the Police needt to approve before Council will approve. Councilwoman Gabriel felt that we could approve the item contingent ont the paperwork being Councilwoman Bernardoi felt that its shouldr not be approved tonight. We doi nots specify Daycarei in our zoning ordinance, SO wea aret treating this asal Home Occupation Use as permitted by conditional use under Section 450-40A. Solicitor Cherry went onto statet that the activity is conducted entirely within't the dwelling; the amount of floora area usedi is not morei than: 25% oft thee entire dwelling; nor more than one resident will be employed, adequate off street parking; nothing will bes sold; noe exterior signs willl be displayed; noj potentially dangerous discharges; anda a daycarei is as secondary to the primary use of thef family dwelling. She recommends that Council approve ther request for Conditional Use. Concerning the new Sewage Treatment Plant, Scott Farrell and Chris Nasuti dida al lot of work over the past fivey years to get us where we are today. The current plant we are working with, was engineeredi in1 1940, but wasn't built untilt the sixties. That old plant! has served our citizens well. The cost fort ther new plant willl bes substantial at $62,000,000 whichy willl be! paid! by the users oft the plantr not through tax dollars. Thanky you Scott, Chris and. Joe who helped withg grants.
