CITY OF BRUNDIDGE RESOLUTIONNO. 2023-16  PY2023 COMMUNITYDEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANTI PROGRAM  PROFESSIONAL: SERVICES RESOLUTION  To accept aj proposal for the provision of professional services for the City of] Brundidge PY 2023 CDBG Project, and to authorize the Mayor of Brundidge to sign all documents related to the execution oft the contract pending WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge contacted known qualified firms to obtain proposals for the provision of WHEREAS, only one proposal was received, reviewed, deemed to have met all of the requirements, and WHEREAS, Poly Inc., the only firm to submit a proposal, is not debarred from working on federally funded WHEREAS, it has been determined that it is in the best interest oft the City of Brundidge to award a contract to Poly Inc. for al PY2023 CDBG Application, and CDBG Post-Application services contingent upon awarding of NOW THEREFORE, LET IT BE: RESOLVED that, based on the City's understanding of recent changes to the procurement policy of ADECA, the acceptance oft the proposal of] Poly Inc. for the provision of professional services for PY 2023 CDBG Project, has been determined to be in the best interest of the City, and that the proposed fee has been accepted as reasonable based on the complexity oft the project, ADECA's acceptable fee  award ofPY 2023 CDBG funds.  engineering services for al PY: 2023 Community Development Block Grant Project; and  therefore, recommended for award; and  projects per the SAM.GOV search results attached hereinto; and  the grant.  scale and the amount and nature oft the local match to be provided by the City.  BE: IT FURTHER RESOLVED as follows:  SECTION 1. That the City of Brundidge hereby elects to select and award Poly Inc. for the provision of engineering services pending the receipt of CDBG funds and ADECA contract approval as required. SECTION 2. That this action is based on the current interpretation of ADECA procurement policy which is SECTION3.
