RESOLUTION NO. 2022-12  RECLASSIFICATION OF VETERANS BOULEVARD  WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge, Alabama is desirous that the Alabama Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration reclassify Veterans Boulevard for its entire length of 0.94 miles from US Highway 231 to State Road 93 (Main Street) as a Rural WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge, Alabama submits within the letter of transmittal and acknowledges a safety assessment report addressing the current conditions and recommendations listed in the Alabama Department of Transportation Local Public Agency (LPA) Road Design NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that the City of Brundidge, Alabama does request that Veterans Boulevard from US Highway 231 to State Road 93 (Main St.) be designated as a Rural Major Collector under the Highway Functional Classification System. APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Brundidge, Alabama the  Major Collector under the Highway Functional Classification System; and  Policy dated April 2022; and  6th of September  2022.
