225  City Council Meeting Minutes - December 5, 2022  City Council Chambers, City Building, 16 West Scribner Avenue, DuBois, Pennsylvania on Monday, December 5, 2022 @ 6 p.m.; Council convened att their regular City Council Meeting with Mayor Walshi int the Chair. Other Council Members present were: Diane Bernardo, James Aughenbaugh, Shane Dietz, and Shannon Gabriel. Also present were: City Manager, John "Herm" Suplizio; City Solicitor, Toni Cherry; City Engineer/Public Works Director, Chris Nasuti; Public Works Superintendent, Scott Farrell; Redevelopment Authority Director/Assistant Public Works Superintendent, Joe Mitchell; Police Chief, Blaine Clark and  City Secretary, Bobbie Shaffer.  Absent: Walsh.  City Controller, David Volpe  Ther meeting was calledi to order at7 p.m. and thel Pledge of Allegiance was led by Mayor  Approval of Minutes  City Council Meeting Minutes - November: 21,2022  The motion was made! by Gabriel and seconded by Aughenbaugh that Council approve the City Council Meeting Minutes of November 21, 2022 as presented by the City Secretary. Roll call vote was as follows: Dietz,yea; Bernardo, yea; Aughenbaugh, yea; Gabriel, yea; Walsh, yea. Motion passed5 5-0. Work Session Meeting Minutes - December1,2022  Ther motion was made by Dietz ands seconded by Gabriel that Council approve the Work Session Meeting Minutes of December 1,2022 as presented byt the City Secretary. Roll call vote was as follows: Dietz,yea; Bernardo, yea; Aughenbaugh, abstain (due to absence); Gabriel, yea; Walsh, yea. Motion passed 4-0.  Registry of Invoices  The motion was made by Aughenbaugh and seconded by Gabriel that Council approve the Purchase Order Listing by Vendor Name dated December 1,2022 int the amount of $1,489,811.52 andt the Check Register by Check ID dated December1 1, 2022i ini the amount of $22,486.41 as presented by thel Finance-Officer. Public Comments None PenNVESTLGUDA Sewer H20 Grant  City Engineer Nasuti stated that we don't have anything fort this tonight; just wanted to Director Mitchell: stated that we: are apply fora a grant with! help from HRG for a portion of City Manager Suplizio statedy we arej just looking for authorizationtoday! Ken doesn't plan to advertise until the price of lumber goes back up. Councilman. Aughenbaugh: asked if Council would be notified wheny we do advertise. Suplizio confirmed that they would be. Councilwoman Diane Bernardo  Asked Police Chief Clarkift the Police Department's Meet and Greeti is scheduled: for Thursday, Mentioned the Memorial Benches fort thet top of the boulevard. The Cityi is working with Sandy Township tot try andh help Central out. Currently we are working onp policy fort the officer...will he! be ablei to wear his uniformi int the school?
