RESOLUTION NO. 2021-01  WHEREAS, the run-off election for the City of Brundidge, Alabama was duly WHEREAS, the municipal governing body oft the City of Brundidge, Alabama met on this 8th day ofOctober, 2020 at which time and place the following members were present: Councilmembers Baxter, Ross and Gaynor, absent Griffin and Foster, thereofbeing present at 11:00 o'clock a.m., and has canvassed the returns, and has ascertained and determined the number of votes received by each candidate, and WHEREAS, the Council has ascertained and determined the result ofs said  and legally held on October 6th, 2020 as provided by law, and  election as follows:  Mayor  Isabell "Fronnie" Boyd Jimmy Ramage  585 198  COUNCIL DISTRICTNO.1  Betty Baxter Douglas Holland  68 81  COUNCIL DISTRICTI NO.2  Alexandria Griffin Latisha Hall  52 108  NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council oft the City of Brundidge,  Alabama, as follows:  1. That Isabell Boyd received ai majority of the votes cast for the office of Mayor and isl hereby declared duly elected to that office for the term beginning on the first 2. That Gerald Douglas Holland received a majority oft the votes cast for the office of Council member District No. 1 and is hereby declared duly elected to that office for the term beginning on the first Monday in November 2020. 3. That Latisher Hall received a majority oft the votes cast for the office of Council member District No. 2 and is hereby declared duly elected to that office for the  Monday in November 2020.  term beginning on the first Monday in November 2020.
