He will have a recommendation' for the Chemicals on Monday, April 18th. He went on to sayt that the Water Resource Facility Project is 24% over budget, soi it came inr much higher than anticipated. He will be meeting with PennVest next week tos see ift the loan can be restructured. Hei feels that the Bridge & Access Road andt the Coke Hill Sanitary Sewer came in with decent bids so hei feelst that we should proceed with awardingt those projects. He believes it willl bei thei first of May before we have a recommendation for the last City! Manager Suplizio stated that this has become a big problem on Munroe Street as hospital employees are not allowed top parki in the parking lot as they park on the street. He believes we need to put up' "No Parking" signs on both sides. Councilwoman Gabriel stated that the hospital provides ample parking for employees theyj just don't want to walk from the parking provided. Councilwoman Bernardoi feels that as they have purchased several properties they can build more parking for employees. Ther motion was made by Gabriel and seconded by Bernardo that Council authorizing putting "No Parking" signs on boths sides of Munroe Street. Court Drug Taskforce Team Chief Clarkp puta ai timeline together which will be put in Council's packet for Monday night. He went on to discuss the procedure for testing. He believes we need tol hire a couple more fulltime officers fori thel Hospital and thei testing can be used for that. He would like tol hire a fewr narcotic officers who can be working on other projects untilt thet teami is ready to go. He stated hel has reached out tot the State Police. Tonight he would liket to get authorization from Council to advertise for testing. The motion was madel by Gabriel ands seconded by Aughenbaugh that Council authorize Chief Clark to advertise for testing for new hires. Mitchell stated he passed! 5-0. Councilwoman Diane Bernardo has been talking to thei individuals. Code Enforcement/Zoning Officer - Zac Lawhead Things are starting to green up. Police Chief- - Blaine Clark int the state. Shout out for the Middle School- - they are once again a' "Schools to Watch" - one of only two Redevelopment. Authority Director/Assistant Public Work Superintendent - Joel Mitchell Discussed Fentley Shenkle retiring from the Redevelopment Authority after 26 years and the appointment of. Jessica Runyon which willl be on Monday's agenda. We really appreciate the timet that Fentley has given the Authority he was in banking and Jessica is in banking. Mitchell Asked Chief Clark what the feedback is on having the police at thel hospital and ifit has made a difference. Chief Clark stated he felt thet feedback was pretty positive. Councilwoman Gabriel stated that the nurses love having the officers therei it cuts down on the number ofi incidents. Clarks stated that the incidents have doubled but no one has tol be called in from off the streets. He feels the number is going to get larger with the new Trauma and Mental Health/Drug & Askeda about thel building permit for the Eastside. Lawhead said! he thought they would begin feelsi it will be a good fit. Councilwoman Diane Bernardo Alcohol facility going in. Councilman Jim Aughenbaugh Councilman Edward Walsh work before now.
