Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Special Meeting 6:30 PM  The City Council of the City of Robert Lee, Texas, met in Regular Session at the City Hall at 6:30  p.m. Present: Absent: Presentations and Proclamations Consent Agenda A. Minutes - May 16, 2024  Mayor Steven Arens, Council Members: Josh Tennison, Mike Stephens, Jonathan  Torres, Skyler Rainwater, City Attorney Jeff Betty  Brantly Robertson  Motion by Council Member Josh Tennison to approve the consent agenda. Seconded by  Mayor Pro Tem Mike Stephens. Vote 4-0, motion carried. A. Ordinance 12-24 Title Change - City Administrator - 2nd Reading  Regular. Agenda  No Changes  Motion by Council Member Jonathan Torres to approve the 2nd reading of Ordinance 12- 24, changing the title of City Secretary to City Administrator. Seconded by Council B. Ordinance 13-24FY23-24 Budget Amendment (4th Amendment) - 2nd Reading  Member. Josh Tennison. Vote 4-0, motion carried.  No Changes 0, motion carried. C. Adopt a Temporary Map  Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Mike Stephens to approve the 2nd, reading ofOrdinance 13-24, FY23-24 Budget Amendment. Seconded by Council Member Skyler Rainwater. Vote 4- Discussion: Consider adopting a temporary map to conduct City Business until another comprehensive plan is completed. They should be done every 10 years, and grants are available through the USDA and the TDA to make these types of maps. Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Mike Stephens to approve oft the 1st reading of 14-24, adopting at temporary map to conduct City Business. Seconded by Council Member Discussion: Consider adopting an ordinance outlining the application process, fees, and rules for organizations requesting to close a public street for an event. Motion by Mayor Pro Tem Mike Stephens to approve the 1St reading of Ordinance 15-24, Temporary Street Closure. Seconded by Council Member Jonathan Torres. Vote 4-0,  Skyler Rainwater. Vote 4-0, motion carried. D. Temporary Street Closure Ordinance  motion carried.  E. Attorney Consultation - Executive Session The council returns at 8:091 PM from executive session.  The council exits at 7:03 PM to executive session for a consultation with the attorney.  Reports Mayor Superintendent Request for Future Agenda Items  Secretary - Budget Workshop will be scheduled in the coming months.
