Resolution 2024-R-105  A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of an Agreement with Fi Plan Partners, LLCfor the  management ofthe City' 's OPEB Trust Account  WHEREAS, the City has established an Other Post-Employment Benefits (OPEB) Trust account to fund the future health care and other post-employment benefits for its retirees; WHEREAS, the City solicited proposals through a Request for Proposals (RFP) process WHEREAS, Fi Plan Partners, LLC was the sole financial firm to submit a proposal in WHEREAS, after review and consideration, the City Council has determined that Fil Plan Partners, LLC possesses the expertise and experience required to effectively manage the OPEB  to find a qualified financial firm to manage the OPEB Trust account;  response to the RFP; and  Trust account.  THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Irondale that Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr., or his designee, is authorized to execute an agreement with Fi Plan Partners, LLC for the management of the OPEB Trust account, as well as any other documents  necessary to accomplish such agreement.
