City Clerk  BHdE    Exhibit A    SERVICE AGREEMENT  This agreement made and entered into by and between the City of Irondale, Alabama, a municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as the "City") and ClasTran, an Alabama non-  profit corporation (hereinafterreferred to as the "Contractor").  WHEREAS, the Birmingham Regional Paratransit Consortium, doing business as ClasTran, is a nonprofit (501-C-3) corporation formed in June of 1997 to coordinate specialized  transportation (paratransit) services in Jefferson County, Alabama; and  WHEREAS, ClasTran serves clients who reside within the City ofl Irondale; and WHEREAS, the City of Irondale recognizes the need for specialized transportation (paratransit) services for its citizens and is desirous of obtaining Contractor's services as designated below and finds that a public purpose is served through the obtaining of such  services.  THEREFORE, the parties hereto promise, covenant and agree as follows:  1. Contractor hereby agrees to provide specialized transportation (paratransit) services 2.
