CITY OF SCHULENBURG SCHULENBURG, TX June 17, 2024 The City Council of the City of Schulenburg met in regular session on Monday, June 17, 2024, at 6:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers located at 607 Upton Avenue, Schulenburg, Texas. The elected officials present included Mayor, Connie Koopmann, Alderwoman, Kathy Kleiber, Aldermen, Greg Thomas, Frank Wick III, Roger Moellenberndt, and Clarence Ahlschlager. City Staff present were City Administrator, Tami Walker, Operations Manager, Darryl Moeller, Police Visitors included Layne Vyvjala of the Schulenburg Sticker, Pastor Lemae Higgs, Jerri Conrado of Langford Community Management Services, Joshua Mendel, Marsha Caine, Robert Moore, Mayor Koopmann called role. Mrs. Walker replied no, but we have the funds from other projects that will not be completed this budget year that will cover. Alderman Thomas made a motion, seconded by Alderwoman Kleiber, to accept the bid from Texas Building and Roofing Supplies, Inc. for $79,665 for an awning and $65,165 for a lean-to. trucks and equipment. Mrs. Walker explained that over the past week, City Staff contacted a building inspector, an asbestos specialist, roof inspector, plumbers, and al brick mason.
