For Information  3E Budget and Financial Report Fiscal Year June 30th, 2021, Audit report  Julie Osteen  Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer Julie Osteen went over the Audit treport.  1Page    Mayor Baisden asked if the cars would come out of the Non - Major fund Assistant City Manager Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer Julie Osteen went over current levy collection  & Finance Officer. Julie Osteen said they would.  percentage was at! 99.33%  Mayor Baisden asked about the uncollected and foreclosure saying it has been years since the collection or foreclosure Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer. Julie Osteen said $13,014.00 Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer Julie Osteen talked about Water & Sewer must be kept separate now. Total net position Water $1,215,115.00 Sewer $ $2,080,572.00 for a total of $3,295,687.00: Sewer had a loss of $34,210.00 City Manager Orr said that was partly due to tanks, cleaning of Bar screens and 4 loads pumped, hauled, and dumped. Commissioner Oxtoby asked if the water and sewer money was still in one account and just separated on paper Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer Julie Osteen said yes. Oft the $3,295,687.00 that Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer Julie Osteen said we. gained about 40,000.00 dollars in sales taxes Commissioner Marion asked if that was tied to Saluda only Commissioner Talbot explained that she had to pay Polk County for the sales tax, and they decide how to disburse it. Assistant City Manager & Finance Officer Julie Osteen said that the county goes by Population.  was the amount ofuncollected.  $2,560,000.00 were assets in the ground.  For Decision  Commissioner Marion made a motion to approve the Audit Report as presented.
