Galloway 2nd place in the Christmas That we withdraw from Savings & Loan Association what we have above $10,000.00 and deposit in the Don Corbella presented the Council a letter requesting the City of Beaumont to release Mr. Corbella's property from Extra Territorial Jurisdiction so his property could be annexed by the Town of Bevil Oaks. That we submit letter to Beaumont City Council requesting release of Mr. Corbella's property. Coward discussed charging a ten (10) per cent fee for late payments of water bill. Mr. Coward to submit to Council a letter to this effect at Mr. Whitmeyer said Town Picnic would be held and Mayor Hall read letter from Attorney Mc Nicholas concerning establishing a Municipal Utility District. No action was taken until more information is received. Mr. C. Hoffman submitted his resignation to Council at this time. Mrs. Roberts at this time presented to town a deed to one acre of land that was donated by Mrs. D. $. Hall. That town of Bevil Oaks accept with gratitude and sincere appreciataon the gift of Mrs. D. Hall of a tract of land described in deed dated 21st day of Septemper recorded in deed records of Jefferson County, Texas according to terms and conditions set out therein. M/M/S/C  That we adopt an ordinance regulating the discharge of industrial waste into the Sanitary sewers of the town of Bevil Oaks, etc. Cole, LaRousse. Minutes approved as corrected.  All samples for water were good in November. Discussed no delinquent tax bill from G. S. U. That we adopt our new delinquent in payment of bills toG. S. U. as corrected to show within thirty days of meter reading date. Fortenberry, Cole. Mayor reported receiving check of $25.00 from G. S. U. to apply to Christmas lighting contest. A temporary crossing had been installed at Hall Park. Mr. Grandberry discussed directors for new Municiple Utilities District. These directors could not be an alderman from town. The names of these five people should be turned in as soon as possible. Eight names were submitted by council to call and ask if they would serve as a director.
