289  Work Session Meeting Minutes - May 4, 2023  City Council Chambers, City Building, 16 West Scribner Avenue, DuBois, Pennsylvania on Thursday, May 4,2 2023 @ 4 p.m.; Council convened: at their regular Work Session with Mayor Walshi ini the Chair. Other Council Members present were: Jim Aughenbaugh, Shane Dietz, and Shannon Gabriel. Also present were: Interim City Manager/City Engineer/Public Work Director, Chris Nasuti; Public Works Superintendent, Scott Farrell; Code Enforcement/Zoning: Officer, Zac Lawhead; Police Chief, Blaine  Clark; and Finance Officer, DeLean Shepherd. Absent: Councilwoman Diane Bernardo was voted on or decided. May 8th Agenda Items  AnE Executive Session was held prior tot thel Work Session concerning a personnel matter; nothing Interim Manager Nasutis stated this was the draft'agenda soi if Council had anya additions, he would  like tol havet them by noon tomorrow: SO we can geti it uploaded tot the website.  Nasutiread downt thei items ont the agenda.  Hes stated that Councilwoman Bernardo is away visiting family, sos she will be missing on Monday. We willl bea advertising: a. What would ber nicei ify youy woulds step up and start acting on our behalf. This isn't Herm, don't! know whys she even speaks about the United Way; she'sr noti the Solicitor, shel hasr nothing to do withi thel United' Way. Shes stated that Jen, Pat, andh herself went tot the Fort Worthf fori the Republican Group, they are starting to get backt together after COVID. Shet thought they could get some dates; she didn't thinkt to writet them down. They are goingt tor nominate some officers and try tol build that group back up. Jared ST; Lawhead: askedi ifs she wanted tol buyi it, then stated thati iti is delinquent fort taxes and the man didn't havei insurance either timei it burned; he hast takenh him tot the magistrate multiple time, he pays fines but won'ti tear it down.
