Box 345 Clay, Al 35048-0345 ITYN PRE-COUNCIL MINUTES March 28, 2017 The City Council oft the City of Clay, Alabama held a Pre-Council meeting on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall with Mayor Webster presiding and City Manager Ronnie Dixon serving as recorder. Mayor Webster called the meeting to order. Council members present were: and Mayor Webster Absent: none Councilor Becky Johnson, Councilor Bo Johnson, Councilor Dennis Locke, Councilor Ben Thackerson, The Council discussed the agenda items for thei regular City Council meeting. Mr. Dixon explained Resolution 2017-05 regarding opposing SB31 and that it would: need to be added to the agenda ift the council wanted to approve it. Mr. Dixon advised the council to go into Executive Session to discuss legal Councilor Becky. Johnson made the motion to go into Executive Session to discuss pending and impending lawsuits, the motion was seconded by Councilor. Locke. This will raise money for wells and clean water in Africa. Registration willl be at 8:00 am and the walk/run willl begin at 9:00 am.
