WELCOME AND PUBLIC COMMENTS None TAXES JAMES WALLACE WANTS TO SPEAK TO COMMISSIONERS COURT ABOUT PROPERTY James Trey Wallace spoke to Commissioners Court about the current inflation rate, Concho CONSIDER/DISCUSSIAPPROVE COUNTY TCDRS PLAN ASSESSMENT FOR 2025 AND Mrs. Gierisch presented the Plan Assessment for Plan Year 2025 for TCDRS. Commissioner Gierisch made a motion to leave the rates the same, duly secondedl by Commissioner Bradshaw. CONSIDERIDISCUSSIAPPROVE VACATING D&D RANCH SUBDIISION, PRESENTED BY Colby Stovall and Jack Downey with SKG Engineering presented Commissioners Court with the proposed plats and the corrected deeds for D&DI Ranch. The owner of the subdivision never sold any oft the subdivided lots and wants to vacate the subdivision so the land can be turned backi into acreage. SKG will have a corrected plat and deed for Apache Hills Road, as the current plat and deed are not correct. They will have the owner, David Currie, come to their office and sign the new deed andt ther new plats then will submit themt to Commissioners Court for approval. No action CONSIDERDISCUSCUSSIAPPROVE QUOTE FOR PROPERTY AND MOBILE EQUIPMENT Mrs. Gierisch presented the proposal for Property Contribution and Coverage Declarations. Commissioner Gierisch made a motion to approve the proposal for the County's Insurance, as presented, duly seconded by Commissioner Gully. Motion carried unanimously. See Exhibit "D" CONSIDERIDISCUSS/APPROVE JUDGE ALLEN AMOS TO APPROVE PAYMENT FOR Judge Allen Amos is requesting Commissioners Court to pay for him to go to a conference in September so he can keep his Continuing Education hours current. This will be after the new budget is adopted, so the county can budget for it. Commissioner Gully made a motion to pay for the conference for Judge Amos tol keep his continuing education hours up to date, duly seconded The court took a recess at 10:33 a.m. to read through the previous meetings' minutes and County census data, and the Concho County Tax Rates. See Exhibit "B" CONCHO COUNTY ELECTED RATE-TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION Motion carried unanimously. See Exhibit "C" COLBY STOVALL, SKG ENGINEERING- -TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION taken at this time. INSURANCE - TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS -TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION by Commissioner Bradshaw. Motion carried unanimously. accounts payable. The court went back into session at 10:47 a.m. from recess. APPROVE MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING by Commissioner Gierisch. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Dillard made a motion to approve ther minutes from May 14, 2024, duly seconded CONSIDERIAPPROVE ALL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE FOR CONCHO COUNTY TAKE Mrs. Gierisch presented the monthly Accounts Payable Claim Register through May 28, 2024, with a total of $46,011.70. Commissioner Bradshaw made a motion to approve and pay all accounts due and owing by Concho County, duly seconded by Commissioner Dillard. Motion APPROPRIATE, ACTION carried 4-0-1, with Commissioner Gully abstaining. See Exhibit "E" CONSIDER BURN BAN -TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION No action taken att this time. The Burn Ban will remain lifted. COMMISSIONERS COURT-TAKE APPROPRIATE, ACTION ADDENDUNCONSDERDIBCUSSAPROVE DISASTER DECLARATION EXTENSION BY Judge Dillard stated that he issued a Disaster Declaration for Concho County due to the severe damage that the County suffered from last month's storms. The county has surpassed the five- million-dollar threshold on damages and the Commissioners Court can approve extending the Disaster Declaration for a minimum period of 30 days. Commissioner Gully made a motion to approve the Disaster Declaration Extension, duly seconded by Commissioner Gierisch. Motion REPORTS, INFORMATION. ANDI FUTURE, AGENDA ITEMS-I NOACTION TO BE TAKEN D'Andra Warlick advised the Commissioners that the Appraisal District Board of Directors approved the purchase ofas sea container at the May21str meeting. Ifthe Commissioners are still willing to lay the pad for the container, she will hold off on the purchase until they are close to being done with the pad. The container is coming from San Angelo, so it will not take long tol be Mrs. Gierisch: stated that TAC is conducting: a 1st Amendment. Auditort training for Concho County on August 14, 2024. They will be in Eden at the Law Enforcement Center that morning, and at Mrs. Gierisch advised the Commissioners that al lady ran into thet fence on the West side of the Courthouse last Friday. There were not anyi injuries andi minimal damage tol her vehicle. Thei fence was pushed in att that spot. A deputy was int the area and filled out a crash report. Mrs. Gierisch stated that she was informed that Concho County is 100% compliant on Cyber Mrs. Gierisch provided each Commissioner with their Precinct Budget Worksheet. Brook Nervig updated the Commissioners ont the County 4H program, upcoming State Roundup, Mrs. Hall stated that RCI willl be at the Courthouse next Monday tol begin the retention process in Judge Dillard stated that he will not be present at the. June 25th Commissioners Court and will The next Commissioners Court meeting will be held on.
