PRESENTATIONI FROM ALAN BRISTOLI WITHTEXAS ASSOCIATION OF COUNTIES ON'SB Alan Bristol presented a PowerPoint presentation on Senate Bill 22 (SB22) and answered Chief Deputy Frazier presented the Commissioners Court with a spreadsheet of the salaries with CONSIDERIDISCUSSIAPPROVE UNCLAIMED PROPERTY CAPITAL CREDITS FOR Concho County can submit this form yearly and receive unclaimed capital credits from the Texas State Comptroller's Office. Commissioner Gierisch made a motion to authorize the submission of thel Unclaimed Property Capital Credits for Counties, duly seconded by Commissioner Bradshaw. 119th District Attorney John Best addressed Commissioners Court on the progress that the District Attorney's office had made on the pending cases in Concho County. He gave an update on the upcoming Capital Murder trial that is set to take place in Tom Green County, due to a change of venue. He also spoke about the funds that Concho County contributes to his office. CONSIDERIDISCUSSIAPPROVE SEALED BIDS FOR SCRAP METAL, PRECINCTS 2/ AND4 No bids were submitted. Commissioner Dillard stated that there is a place in San Angelo that will deliver ar rollaway dumpster that we can fill. The company will pick it up when iti is full, haul itto San Angelo, andt take a percentage oft the selling price, and give ther remainder tot the County. No CONSIDERIDISCUSS/APPROVE REPLACEMENT OF AC/HEATING UNIT FOR. JP OFFICE- Mrs. Gierisch presented bids from March 20241 from Agri-Plex and Bowles. The Commissioners considered both proposals and decided on goingf forward with Bowles. Commissioner Gully made amotion to accept the bid from Bowles Heating and Air Conditioning, duly seconded by COASDERDBCISSAFPROVE TREE TRIMMINGITREEI REMOVALATTHE COURTHOUSE Judge Dillard stated that there are af few pecan trees that are half dead and need to be trimmed or removed before they fall and cause any damage. The Commissioners stated to put out for bid for the tree trimming/removal. and to also plant some trees ont the North side of the Courthouse. 22 questions from the Commissioners Court. Commissioner Bradshaw made a motion to move Commissioners Court from Thursday, May 30, 2024, to Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 10:00a.m., duly seconded by Commissioner Gierisch. APPROVE MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING Commissioner Dillard made a motion to approve the minutes from April 23, 2024, as presented, duly seconded by Commissioner Gierisch. Motion carried unanimously. RECEIVE COUNIYTREASURERS REPORT- -TAKE APPROPRIATE/ ACTION Mrs. Gierisch presented the Year-to-date Summary General Ledger Trial Balance through April 30, 2024. The total balance for the county is $8,692,228.00. She also presented the entire county being 41.05%; as well as the Summary Statement of Operations Revenues report. Commissioner Gully made a motion to accept the Treasurer's Report, duly seconded CONSIDERIAPPROVE ALL ACCOUNTS PAYABLE FOR CONCHO COUNTY - TAKE Mrs. Gierisch presented the monthly Accounts Payable Claim Register through May 14, 2024, with ai total of $270,282.34. She presented the payroll register ending on April 15, 2024, with the total being $68,466.97, and the payroll register ending on April 30, 2024, with the total being $64,330.06. Commissioner Bradshaw made a motion to approve and pay all accounts due and owing by Concho County, duly seconded by Commissioner Dillard. Motion carried unanimously. REPORTS, INFORMATION AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS = NOA ACTION TOBE TAKEN Judge Allen Amos would like to be on the next agenda to speak with the Commissioners Court aboutr receiving al budget for next fiscal year for Continuing Education. He will need to receive 16 Mrs. Gierisch said they receipted in, from Concho Central Appraisal District, $36,917.23, on May 3, 2024; with the breakdown being M&O $30,710.67, I&S - $12.99, and Lateral Road $6,193.57. Our collections are 98.91% for General Fund, and 98.9% for Road and Bridge. See Mrs. Gierisch presented the Pledged Securities report from First National Bank of Wichita Falls. Ms. Treadwell wants to be put on ther next agenda to see about getting a split door, like the JP's Office, sot therei is al barrier between her and any defendants that she sees. She said that she had Mrs. Hall advised the Commissioners that Records Consultants, Inc. (RCI) will be here the first week of June to start the retention process for the records in the archive building.
