Village of] Bonney 05/21/2024 Regular Meeting Minutes  Minutes of Regular City Council Meeting ofthe Village ofl Bonney held at the Village of] Bonney Annex Building located at 19025 FM 521, Bonney, Texas 77583. The meeting was called to order by Mayor  Raymond Cantu at 6:02 P.M. on May 21,2 2024. 1. Regular Meeting Roll Call:  There was a quorum with the following members present: Mayor Raymond Cantu, Alderman Jennifer Winans P4, Alderman Karen Doyle P2, Alderman Manuel Cantu, Jr. P3, Alderman Angela Walters P5 and Alderman Tony Gonzalez P1  Attendees: Hellen Perales - City Secretary  Other- Colby Anthony, Texpool Repi from Federated Hermes  2. Public Comments -1 None  3. A presentation along with a discussion was given by Colby Anthony with Federated Hermes regarding Texpool and Texpool Prime- which are the largest local government investment pools in the State of Texas. Texpool seeks to preserve principal, liquidity, and yield of capital investment consistent with the Texas Public Funds Investment Act; which is managed and serviced by Federated  Hermes, Inc. Council to vote in next month's meeting to consider to approve.  4.E Elections - Unopposed Candidates were sworn into office. ITEM 5 was tabled - Consideration of Ordinance approving the Petition for Consent to. Annex Land 6. ITEM 6 was tabled - Consideration of Approval of the Resolution from Brazoria County on Resolution # 1-2024 to adopt the Brazoria Hazard Mitigation Plan 2023. Council decided to speak directly to Larry Boyd and ask for more information regarding the Brazoria Hazard Mitigation Plan 7. Consideration and possible action to approve Regular Meeting Minutes of April 16, 2024. A motion was made by Alderman Jennifer Winans to approve thel Regular Meeting Minutes of April 16, 2024 AYE: Alderman Jennifer Winans, Alderman Karen Doyle, Alderman Angela Walters, Alderman  into the District (MUD 64). Needed more information.  2023.  and seconded by Alderman Manuel Cantu, Jr. Manuel Cantu, Jr. and Alderman Tony Gonzales.  Nay: 0 Motion passed.  8. Item 8 was tabled- Consideration for approval of Ordinance Granting Universal Natural Gas, LLCa  non-exclusive franchise. Needed more information. 9. No update from Building Inspector.
