He recommends that we suspend the rate increase for 90 days and employ Don Butler and the DUCI. City of Bevil Oaks employ Don Butler, Diversified Utility Consultants, Inc. * and such consultants that DUCI should retain and Jerry Hatton to represent the City Of Bevil Oaks in the pending G S U rate case filed on March 21, 1989. Boone with Boone Geophysical, Inc. from Huntsville wants to do a seismographic study within the city limits of Bevil Oaks. Representatives were present and explained what they want to do. They are asking for 1) Mini hole - 6' deep with 1/3 lb. charge dynamite 150' from nearest structure 2) 1'1b. 100' deep 200' from structure 3) 2 lbs. 100' deep 500' from structure These are to be 6' apart with a maximum of 12 charges per mile. Approximately 36 charges in our city. We tabled our decision. Mayor Pickett will call Mr. Boone tomorrow after talking with our attorney.
