Consideration and possible action: A resolution of the City of Santa Fe, Texas canvassing the returns and declaring the results ofa General City Officer Election held on May 4, 20241 fort the election ofa a Mayor; aCouncilmember, Position 2; andac Councimember, Position: 3; to each serveati three-year term to end May City Secretary Natalie Arnett said the majority of voters in the General Election voted for: Mayor, Brandon Noto; Councilmember Position 2, Ryan McCamy; and Councilmember Position 3, Ronald "Bubba" Jannett. The approval of the resolution certifies the election results, and that staff recommends approval of the resolution canvassing the Motion by Councilmember Jannett, seconded by Councilmember Marks, to approve the resolution canvassing the results of the General Election as presented. The motion passed the roll call vote unanimously. 2. Consideration and possible action: A resolution of the City of Santa Fe, Texas canvassing the returns and declaring the results of a Special City Officer Election held on May 4, 2024 for the election of a City Secretary Natalie Arnett said the majority of voters voting for Councilmember Position 1 voted for Russell Schroeder. The approval of the resolution certifies the election results, and that staff recommends approval oft the Motion by Councilmember Noto, seconded by Councimember Dickerson, to approve the resolution canvassing the results of the Special Election as presented. The motion passed the roll call vote unanimously. 3. Consideration and possible action: A resolution of the City of Santa Fe, Texas canvassing the returns and declaring the results of a Special City Charter Election held on May 4, 20241 for the purpose of possibly City Secretary Natalie Arnett saidt there were three propositions presented toi the voters fort the City Charter Election and that the majority of voters voted in favor of all three propositions. The approval of the resolution certifies the election results, and that staff recommends approval oft the resolution canvassing the election. 2027 election.
