INVOCATION AND PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE Present: Huell Gilliam, Brenda Campbell, Demarcus Odom, David Coleman, and Cecile Gardner. C. CITIZEN COMMENTS - This agenda item provides an opportunity for citizens to address the Board ona any matterthat is not posted on the agenda. Anyone wishing to address the Board. should complete a Citizen Comments Form and submit it to the recording secretary prior to the start of the Board meeting. There is a three (3) minute time limit fore each citizen to speak. However, in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Act, the Board cannot discuss issues raised or make any decision at this D. CONSENT AGENDA - All items presented in the Consent Agenda require no deliberation by the Board. Each Board member has the opportunity of removing an item from this agenda sO that it may time. be considered separately. Approval of 3/5/24 meeting minutes. Huell Gilliam motioned to approve and David Coleman second the motion to approve. Unanimously approved by all. E. PRESENTATIONS 2. Director W. Randle will provide updates on upcoming Park Board events and the status of previous meeting open questions. Section F, Item2. -Director W. Randle provided update on the lights at' Valley View Park and The Back-to-School event. -The board will provide additional ideas for community events from the City Attomey on any agenda item listed herein. F. REGULAR AGENDA: As authorized by Section 551.071 of the Texas Government Code, the Board reserves the right to convene in Executive Session fort the purpose ofs seeking confidential legal advice G.
