STATE OF TEXAS  CITY OF DODD CITY CITY COUNCIL  COUNTY OF FANNIN  On this 18th day of April 2024, the City Council ofthe City ofI Dodd City met in a regular meeting after aj public notice was posted on the 15th day of April 2024, with all members present  unless otherwise indicated: Tim Davis - Mayor Michael Keene (Mayor pro-tem) Jackie Lackey Rory Hilliard Becky Herpeche (absent) Matt Ferguson  Visitors: Brian Hilliard Pat Hilliard Doug Kopf(County Comm.) Wade Cain (Safe Built) Teddy Fry James Whitfield  Item #1. Roll was called and a quorum was established at 7:03 by the City Secretary. Item #3. Councilmember Keene made ai motion to approve the consent agenda;  Item #2. Mayor Davis called the meeting to order at 7:03.  Councilmember Hilliard seconded it, and all voted for it.  Item #4. No one spoke.  Item #5. Councilmember Lackey made a motion to accept the PUC Increase in Default Rates up to the City's 2024 Maximum Rates. Councilmember Ferguson seconded, and all Item #6: Councilmember Keene made a motion for the Mayor to work out an agreement to pay the finei imposed by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) overa Item #7: Councilmember Ferguson made a motion to Act on Atmos Energy 2024 Rate Review Item #8: Councilmember Ferguson made ai motion to table designating possible roads, streets, ora alleys in the city needing reconstructing, maintaining or repairing pending further discussion with the County about aj possible interlocal agreement on the matter. Item#9: Councilmember Keene: made ai motion to table signing an interlocal agreement with the County for possible street/road repairs until the agreement could be further reviewed. Councilmember Ferguson seconded, and all voted for the motion. Item #10: Councilmember) Lackey made a motion to authorize a contract with SafeBuilt Texas, LLC, to do code enforcement work for the City of Dodd City. Councilmember Item #11. Public Works/Utilities Director Brian Hilliard discussed improvements on the works Item #12.
