CiyofChillicothe Minutes of Regular City Council Meeting May 6th, 2024 Mayor Cathy Young called thel Regular meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, and a quorum was declared present, with thei following members present: Councilmembers: Randy Stidham, Monica Vidaurri, Bradley Fisher, Delores Flores and Jason Richter. Staff Present: Police Chief Shane Vandiver and Secretary and' Tax Collector Michelle Stovall. Councilmember Richter led the group in thel Pledge of Allegiance to the U.S. flag Public Present: Willie Grant Councilmember Stidham gave the invocation. PUBLIC COMMENT CONSENTAGENDA Mr. Grant would like ar road on 2nd street in front of! his place in North Chillicothe. Councilmember Stidham made ar motion to approve the Consent Agenda Items A through C as follows: A. Approve Minutes: Attached are copies of the minutes of the Regular City Council meeting held on Monday April 1,2024. B. Approve Financial Statement for April 2024 - Approve Bills for payment received since April Ist, 2024 Seconded by Councilmember Vidaurri 5 Yes None. Against Motion Carried DEPARTMENT REPORTS Firel Department - 2Calls, Rollover accident at 287 and] Flynn farm with at total of61 firefighters and 61 man hours Police Department - Traffic stops April 109 with at total of 172 Citations and 0 Warnings. 1Traffic accidents. 173 total calls for service, 38 Dispatch, 14 City Hall, 102 Citizen 12 Other agency Assists 7 Motorist Assist. 14 City Public Works - For the month of April, we read meters. Repaired a leak on Avel P. Had DLQLR Reports due sO filed the reports. Problem on. Avel M and gth but our sewer main was running fine. Electrician came to install aj part but had the wrong part so he will be back when the right part comes in. Cleaned out the drying beds. Repaired the bathroom at they pool and water sealed the pool benches. Pool looks good andi is ready for water. and rollover at 287 and Grammar Rd with at total of5 firefighters and: 5.51 man hours. Ordinance contact with 1 citation and 13 warning. 51 impounds. Rolling Plains/Nortex Nortex meeting willl be on the 16th ofMay 2024.
