Motion by Commissioner Riley, seconded by Commissioner Walker to approve Commissioners Court Agenda for discussion and necessary action. Motion carried. CITIZENS - AGENDAITEM7 Commissioner-Elect Precinct 3, Ritch Wheeler, addressed the court about agenda items 16B1-6; 17A and 17B. Wheeler began by stating that he and Commissioner Noack have not had the opportunity to speak and work on a transition plan for Precinct 3 since the election. Wheeler was concerned that the opening positions listed on the court's agenda was Commissioner Noack's way oftransferring out his office staff to other departments around the county in an effort toj protect their jobs based on the assumption that Wheeler had plans to terminate these staff members upon his arrival. Wheeler clarified with the court that that assumption is further from the truth, and that he looks forward to taking office, and working with all County employees and staffmembers, specifically those in Precinct 3.
