PORT ALLEGANY BOROUGH COUNCIL Regular Meeting July 3,2023 CALL TO ORDER - The Port Allegany Borough Council met on July 3, 2023 at the Borough Council Chambers. Those present were Council Members Jared Dickerson, Tammy Boyd, Andrew Johnson, Cory Thomas, Katie Dynda, and Sam Dynda. Also present were Secretary Heather Szuba Absent from the meeting were Council Member Jill Stuckey and Mayor George Riley. and Manager. Jeremy Morey. President Andrew Johnson called the meeting to order at 6:30 pm leading those in attendance with the MINUTES - Katie Dynda made a motion to approve the Minutes of the June 5, 2023 Regular BILL LIST - After review, Katie Dynda made a motion to approve the June 2023 expenditures. PUBLIC COMMENTS - Dorothy Anderson of the Women's Club asked Council for a letter of support for the Community Heart and Soul Program and to approve the Borough to be the Project's Fiscal Sponsor (where funds will be deposited and dispersed). FOR: IMMEDIATE ACTION Sam Dynda made a motion to approve the Borough to be the pass-through agency (Fiscal Sponsor) for the Community Heart and Soul Program and to provide al letter of support for the Project with up to two (2) members on the Heart and Soul decision-making committee. Tammy Boyd seconded. Cory Thomas made a motion to approve the County ARPA Disbursement Request for $11,983.18 for Motion carried. the Harrison Street Project. Jared Dickerson seconded.
