FOR THE CALLAHAN PARK WHEREAS, on June 13,2023 the City ofBradford awarded a contract to Bob Cummins Construction Co. in the  RECREATION IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT-PHASEL RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Bradford, that amount of $855,189.00 for the Callahan Park Recreation Improvements  OECD  Project-Phase I; and,    May 28, 2024  CITY COUNCIL MEETING  6:00 P.M. increased the amount of authorize the amount of  WHEREAS, on August 8, 2023, the City of Bradford approved Change Order No.1, which WHEREAS, on August 22, 2023, the City of Bradford approved Change Order No. 2, which increased the WHEREAS, on October. 23, 2023, the City of Bradford approved Change Order No.3 in the $74,172.40 toi increase the contract amount to $989,075.90. WHEREAS, on November 23, 2024, the City of] Bradford approved Change Order No. 4t to extension oft the completion date tol May 31,2024 at no additional cost. WHEREAS, on April 23, 2024, the City of Bradford approved Change Order No. 5 in the $28,977.00 toi increase the contract amount to $$1,018,052.90. a cost of$11,700.00, increasing the contract cost to $1,029,752.90. to execute Change Order No. 61 for the Callahan Park Recreation  contract amount to $866,240.50; and, contract amount to $914,903.50.  WHEREAS, the tennis courts/pickleball courts required an additional quote of paint not specified in the drawings at NOW, THEREFORE BEI ITI RESOLVED, that thej proper officers of the City of Bradford are hereby authorized  Improvements Project-Phase I. PHARE GRANTTOJAMES HANNON FOR EMERGENCY HOME REPAIRS AT26COLE  AVENUE: OECD the PHAREI Program; and,  RESOLVED, By the City Council of the City of Bradford, that  WHEREAS, the City of] Bradford has made emergency home repair grant funds available to City residents through recommends that the work be performed by the contractor providing the lowest acceptable quote for the work; and, WHEREAS, the OECD recommends that PHARE funding in the amount of$22,900.00 in the form ofan WHEREAS, James Hannon will enter into a contract with) Hennard Construction in the amount of$22,900.00 for NOW, THEREFORE BEI IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Bradford hereby authorizes the proper officers of the City of] Bradford to enter a PHARE Emergency HOME Repair Grant Agreement with James Hannon and further authorizes the OECD to make payments not to exceed $22,900.00 to the homeowner and Hennard Construction upon thei inspection and approval of the completed work by OECD staff.
