Approval of Budget Amendment Ordinance #2024-011-1 To amend the General Fund (10) and the Parks Vice Mayor Ervin made a motion to approve the Consent Agenda. Public Hearing - Ordinance #2024-010-, A request to rezone 1.45 acres located at 99999 Old Marshalli from Transitional District (TR) to R-21 Residential District (R-21). The propertyi is identified ini the Buncombe County taxi record as PIN 9731-54-0323. The property owner is the Town of Woodfin. Staff member presenting- - Ricky Hurley. Mayor McAllister opened the Public Hearing at 6:35 pm. There was no public comment at the publicl hearing. Mayor McAllister closed the Public Hearing at 6:36 pm. Council Member Kahn made a motion to approve Ordinance #2024-010 the rezoning of 1.45 acres as shown on Exhibits A & Bi from Transitional District to R-21 Residential District and find that the request is reasonable, isi in the public interest, is consistent with the Woodfin Together Comprehensive Plan, and meets the development needs oft the community in that the request: 1. Uses the Future Land Use Mapi to guide development decisions that promotes fiscal responsibility bye encouraging growth in areas with existing services (1.1.1,1.2.6),: 2. Protects steep: slopes and other environmentally, sensitive areas (5.1.1). Council Member Cohen secondedi the motion Vice Mayor Ervin made a motion to adjourn into closed: session consistent with North Carolina General Statute $143-318.11 (a)(3): To consult with an attorney employed or retained byt the public bodyi in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the public body, which privilege is herebyacknowledged; G. Executive Session (1:34:47) - The Town Council may adjourn to private chambers to discuss legal, personnel, contractual or similar matters protected by thel NCGS $143-318.11. (a) including subsections: 1. (3)to consult with an attorney employed or retained by the public body in order to preserve the attorney- client privilege between the attorney and the public body, which privilege is hereby acknowledged.
