The Callaway Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) met in budget hearing session with Pamn Henderson, Chairman, David Griggs, Vice-Chair and Board Members Scott Davis, Bob Pelletier and Kenneth Ayers, Jr. in attendance. Also present was Eddie Cook, CRA Director; Kevin Obos, City Attorney, Janice L. Peters, City Clerk; David Schultz, Finance Director; Tim Legare, Leisure Services Director, Bill Frye Director of Public Works, Bonnie Poole, Director of Code Enforcement and Lisa Mayo, Director ofUtility Billing. The meeting was called to order by Board Chairman Henderson at 5:48 p.m. CRA Resolution No. 2023-01 Adopting the FY2023/24 CRA Budget. REGULAR AGENDA City Clerk Peters read CRA Resolution No. 2023-01 by title as follows: A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF CALLAWAY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY FOR THE 2023/2024 FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2023, AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2024; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. It has become unstable, and failure would be considered an environmental issue due to upstream wetlands. Staff is currently searching for additional grant funds to assist in the repair and have produced two available grants that will be applied. Due the concern for the environmental issues, we need to start the engineering. If a grant is received, we will add the Itis our intent to use CRA funds for the engineering of the project due to general fund balance.
