Minutes Regular Meeting April11,2024  Commissioners Present: Commissioner Steve Remke, Mayor Commissioner Paula Bell Commissioner. John Gunter Commissioner Sharon Rudd City Attorney Bill Garner Meeting called to order at 6:00 pm. Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Remke.  Commissioner Not Present: Commissioner Paul Shedan City Manager Zoe A Mansfield,  Not Present  Motion to adopt minutes of March 14, 2024 regular meeting made by Commissioner Sharon Rudd. Seconded by Commissioner. John Gunter. All ini favor. Guest Kathy Burgess asked the commission for approval of a carport at 224 Fire Escape Motion to approve carport at 224 Fire Escape Road made by Commissioner Paula Bell. Representative Russell Powell introduced a conceptional plan of Trails End Phase Il for Bob Brooks. Discussion included, a 3,000 square foot restaurant, 8 lots that meet the code requirements of 30' 'x90, 13 boat slips for boats only, and possibly filling int the ditch with Charles Dunlap had concerns about the selling of Innovation Park as in why it wasn't put out for bid and how the bidding process to work for the city is done. Mayor Remke explained that the cityi is having an appraisal done atl Innovation Park, then the city will look Shadrach Hines with St Marks' Waterfronts Partnership said the last community market day went well, there was a Corn Hole Contest with a good amount of community! involvement. She explained what and how the Community Rating Systems, (CRA) helps the community on their homeowners' floodi insurance, and how with FEMA, Wakulla County, City of Tallahassee, and Leon Countyi individually and working as a team for Program for Public Information, (PPI)and Motion to adjourn made by Commissioner Sharon Rudd.
