Adopt Agenda as Written Commissioner Daniel Hill (Present) Commissioner Joyce Schwing (Present) Commissioner Veronica Reardon (Present) Commissioner Pat Tully made motion to Adopt Agenda as Written, Seconded by Commissioner Isaac Young. Motion carried 5-0 Motion to Adopt Consent Agenda Reardon. Motion carried 5-0 Old Business: Commissioner Pat Tully made motion to accept the Consent Agenda, Seconded by Commissioner Veronica American Rescue Plan Funds (Commissioner Joyce Schwing) Commissioner. Joyce Schwing read Sept 14, 2021, Minutes in record to ARPA Funds. Joyce Schwing said that we are using the CDBG 2019 Grant to pave roads which include Gladys, Cason Acres all the way to Lois, Sandi and Neeld, and that there won't be enough money sO Commissioner Joyce Schwing is asking the Commission to take Mayor Steve Schwing asked what the money is being used for now? Commissioner Joyce Schwing said its being the remaining balance of the ARPA Funds and use it to pave roads these roads. used for Lois, Neeld, and Sandi Roads. Commissioner Pat Tully questioned Budget. Mayor Steve Schwing commented on ARPA. Commissioner Isaac asked Commissioner Veronica Reardon if she has looked into what the computer system might cost to upgrade. Commissioner Veronica Reardon replied that we use Gatorworks and that we rent seven MINUTES 06/13/2023 2 computers from them, If we were to buy new ones from Lenovo it would cost about $500 or less per computer Commissioner Isaac Young said we need to make sure we have the funding to keep up on these paved roads. and we would keep Gatorworks as IT. Mayor Steve Schwing commented. Commissioner Veronica Reardon commented on computers. Commissioner Isaac Young Commented. Commissioner Joyce Schwing made motion to have the town send a letter to DEO that the Town Commission has Committed the remaining APRA Funds to the CDBG2 2019 Road, and Roof project, Seconded by Commissioner Pat Tully. Motion carried 5-0. New Business: A. Attorney Fugate Contract (Mayor Schwing) Commissioner Pat Tully made motion that the commission instruct the Mayor to sign the Contract for legal services Fugate Law Firm, Seconded by Commissioner. Joyce Schwing. Motion carried 5-0 B. Attorney Christopher Anderson Contract (Mayor Schwing) Commissioner Pat Tully made motion that the Commission instruct the Mayor to sign the Limited Legal Services Agreement with Attorney Christopher Anderson, Seconded by Commissioner Veronica Reardon. Motion carried 5-0 C.N Nominate IRC Board (Commissioner Isaac Young) Commissioner. Joyce Schwing. Motion carried 5-0 Commissioner Isaac Young read offt the new IRC Members. Commissioner Isaac Young made motion to Nominate new Board Members to the IRC, Seconded by D. Transportation for Fire Chief Mclean (Commissioner Pat Tully) Commissioner Pat Tully Said that Fire Chief Steadman Mclean has been using his personal vehicle when he needs toa attend meetings. Commissioner Pat Tully Would like Steadman to drive the Towns Tahoe as a Fire Department vehicle when attending meetings. Fire Chief Steadman Mclean would have to fill out Mileage logs, and everything by the books that is supposed to be done for our Towns vehicles. MINUTES 06/13/2023 3 Commissioner Pat Tully made motion for Fire Chief Steadman Mclean to drive the Towns Tahoe as a Fire Department Vehicle, Seconded by Commissioner Isaac Young. Motion carried 5-0 Discussion was held within the Commission. Harry Brodhead wants tol know if the Tahoe has any Emergency Lights andi is it Properly equipped? Commissioner Pat Tully said it's fully equipped. E. Animal Control Truck (Commissioner Tully) Animal Control Pam Zadorzany commented. Commissioner Pat Tully asking for guidance from Commission. Commissioner Veronica Reardon asked for time to look at Budget. Mayor Steve Schwing said there is $47.201 in Future Fleet Budget. Commissioner Pat Tully made motion to move forward on looking for new Animal Control vehicle, Seconded by Commissioner Veronica Reardon. Upcoming Events- 4th of July Event which will be held. July 1st, Stuff the Bus, Trunk or Treat which will be October 27,2023, Mullet Toss which will be held October 27, 2023. Code Enforcement, Planning & Zoning: Commissioner Isaac Young Ed Birkler brought up a Sink Hole at Family Dollar and talked about Updating office Software.
