OAK  CITY OF OAKI HILL SPECIALI MEETING City Commission May23,2024  LORIDD  300PM-COMMISSION CHAMBERS-CIYHALL  MINUTES  A. CALL TO ORDER-3:00pm B. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE C. ROLLO CALL Ina attendance:  Mayor Gibson, Vice Mayor Lindlau, Commissioner Catigano, and Commissioner McGee. Absent: Commissioner Hyatt (called priort to meeting to say she was not able to attend).  D. RESOLUTION NO. 2024-12  AI RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OAK HILL, FLORIDA, PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT ATTACHED HERETO FOR1 THE SALE OF CITY PROPERTY LOCATED ON NANCY STREET (PARCEL ID 950703020040); PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTING RESOLUTIONS; City Administrator. Adams read thei title of the Resolution into the record. He went on to review that that the City owns the parcel in question on Nancy: Street that is for sale. The Commission had previously approved selling via sealed bid. Onel bid was received for $9,000 andy was accepted by the Commission. The Commission instructed the City Administrator and City Attorney to prepare documents for the sale of the property. The Title company doing the closing requested a resolution tos say that the Mayor and City Administrator can sign the documents to effect the sale. This meeting ist tol have the Commission approve the resolution. Closingi is scheduled for May 319t, 2024. Motion to approve Resolution 2024-12 by Commissioner McGee and Second byl Vice Mayor Commissioner McGee) just reiterated that this was approved previously. The buyer owns adjacent land, andi this will allow him to have al large enough property to actually do something withit it.  AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.  Lindlau.  Action - passed unanimously.
