Chickasaw City Council  Stateo ofAlabama Mobile, County  The Chickasaw City Council met in a regular session on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 7:32 p.m.. Present were Mayor Barry Broadhead, Councilmember Jim Trout, Jennifer White, Jim Hanson, JRI Rawls, and Ken Sterrett. City Attorney, Nash Campbell, and City Clerk Michelle Ross were present. Councimember Jim ADOPTION OF AGENDA - Councilmember Trout moved to approve the agenda for the regularly scheduled meeting on May 28, 2024. Councilmember Rawls & Councilmember Sterrett seconded the motion. Motion for final adoption passed by the following voice votes: AYE - White, Hanson, Broadhead, APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Councilmember Trout moved to approve the minutes from the regularly scheduled meeting on 14th May. Councilmember White seconded the motion. Motion for final adoption passed by the following voice votes: AYE - White, Hanson, Broadhead, Trout, Sterrett, Rawls. NAY-None Councilmember Rawls moved to approve the repair of gutters/drains and sidewalks at Chickasaw Housing estimated cost of $15,100. Councilmember Trout seconded the motion. Motion for final adoption passed by the following voice votes: AYE - White, Hanson, Broadhead, Trout, Sterrett, Rawls. NAY-None Councilmember Hanson moved to approve the repair of gutters/drains sidewalks at Chickasaw School.- estimated cost of $1,200. Seconded by Councilmember White and Councilmember Sterrett. Motion for final adoption passed by the following voice votes: AYE - White, Hanson, Broadhead, Trout, Sterrett, Councilmember Hanson moved to approve the repair of the roof in maintenance and city hall. NAY-None  Councilmember White moved to approve a cost ofr not more than $20,000 to replace the air conditioner in the City Hall Court Room. NAY-None  RESOLUTIONS & ORDINANCES No resolutions or ordinances  FINANCIAL REPORT - Accounts Payable $71,458.97- Councilmember Trout moved to put the accounts payable in line for payment, seconded by Councilmember Hanson.
