Also present City Manager Matthew Pepper, City Attorney Chuck Ross with Powell and Edwards Attorneys at Law, Chief of Police Greg Perry, Planning and Development Director Jason Thompson, Public Information Officer Brian Arrington, IT Administrator Erika Fleeman and City Clerk Melisa Arnold. (Assistant City Manager Mercy Montgomery was absent.) Mayor Bender called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. CALL TO ORDER INVOCATION Pastor Tim Emmett with Cannon United Methodist Church gave the invocation. PLEDGE TOTHE FLAG Chief Perry led the Pledge of Allegiance. Mayor Bender announced that newly appointed Planning Commission Board Member Rose Purdy was present sO she will administer the Oath ofOffice. CEREMONIAL MATTERS Mayor Bender administered the Oath of Office for Planning Commission Post 4 to Ms. Rose Purdy.
