Spencer, Brett Carpenter, Scott Gillis David Strait called the meeting to order at 9:05 am and led the Pledge of Allegiance. Ona a motion by. Jedd Schola, seconded by David Strait, the May 6, 2024 regular meeting minutes were approved. 3/0 Exonerations were presented. Laurie Austin discussed upcoming Fiduciary training on. June 27 with a registration deadline of June 7.Two people are interested and she will inform them of the training information. On a motion by. Jamie Carpenter, seconded by David Strait, two (2) final settlements were approved. 3/0 CORRIENA: JEAN KINES, RONALD WILSON STEMPLE David Strait reported the Barbour County Ambulance Authority held its first meeting. He is serving as President; Corey Brandon was nominated as Vice President and Shana Frey as Secretary/Ireasurer. Onan motion by. Jamie Carpenter,seconded by Jedd Schola, $100,000.00 of already dedicated Barbour County Ambulance Service ARP funds (project ARP-188) was approved to be transferred to Barbour County CEOS spoke about their services and community projects. A Proclamation declaring May 19-24 as Community Educational Outreach Services (CEOS) week was read and signed. Sheriff Brett Carpenter discussed the status of an injured officer and requested consent to hire an uncertified officer to help fill the void.
