Resolution No. 2021-21 DECLARED A PUBLIC NUISANCE AUTHORITY TO ASSESS PROPERTY OWNERS FOR THE REMOVAL OF WEEDS WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge Code Enforcement has identified weeds within the City limits WHEREAS, Code Enforcement has notified the property owners oft the intent to remove the WHEREAS, the property owners did not respond nor did they take any action to have the WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge removed the nuisance in accordance with requirements WHEREAS, the City of Brundidge had the nuisance removed at the following address and and declared them to be a public nuisance; and nuisance if no action is taken by the owner; and nuisance removed; and established under Ordinance and as established by the legislature; and associated cost: Street 414 Mike Street Parcel No. 5160/264.06.06.00 Cost to Remove $660.00 WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by the Council giving the above party the opportunity to show cause why the property: should not be assessed and a lien placed on the property for cost incurred; and NOW THEREFORE BE ITI RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Brundidge, Alabama, that the City Manager is authorized and directed to take the necessary action to have the foregoing property owner assessed and collected to recoup the cost of removing the nuisance.
