II. Call to Order - The meeting was called to order by Council President Spivey at 6:02 p.m. III. Councilor Cuellar made a motion to approve the minutes for the Regular Council Meeting on May 7, 2024. The motion was seconded by Councilor Box. A vote was held and this motion passed unanimously. V. Approval of Current Bills for Payment ($1,391,801.09) Councilor Box made a motion to approve the bills in the amount of $1,391,801.09. This motion was seconded by Councilor Cuellar. Approval of the Form of the Agenda Councilor Box made a motion that the form of the agenda be approved. Councilor Cuellar seconded the motion. A vote was held and this motion passed unanimously. XII. Consent Agenda Councilor Box made a motion that item 3 be moved from the Consent Agenda to the Regular Agenda, and the Consent Agenda be approved, as amended. Councilor Sims seconded this motion. Resolved, That Resolution 2024-R-86 allows the City of Irondale to participate in the 2024 "Back to School" Sales Tax Holiday beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024, and ending at twelve midnight on Sunday,July: 21, ,2024. Resolved, That Resolution 2024-R-87 authorizes the payment of public funds to Freshwater Land Trust in the amount of$10,500.00 with $3,500.00 from the 2023-24 FY Discretionary Fund of Councilor Cindy Cuellar, $3,500.00 from the 2023-24FY Discretionary Fund of Councilor David Spivey, $2,000.00 from the 2023-24 FY Discretionary Fund of Councilor Robert Box, $1,000.00 from the 2023-24 FY Discretionary Fund of Councilor Aaron Sims, and $500.00 from the 2023-24 FY Discretionary Fund of Councilor John London to be used exclusively for the Grants Mill Trail Extension Project for the extension of the trail system in the City of Irondale.
