Approve accounts payable and capital assets for the month of June: Upon motion made by Mr. Gilmer, seconded by Mr. Boyd, the accounts payable and capital assets for the month of. June were unanimously approved, ask that all future credit card transaction be listed on the accounts payable. Mr. Reggie Childers appreciates the paving work on Main Street. In addition, he informed the Council having issue with airi ini the water line and concerns of speeding on Church Street. Mr. Childers discussed with Council about Grant for the Downtown Revitalization B. Dustin Keith with Russell County Health Coalition discussed with Council the Farm-To- Table Dinner Event, tickets are available online and also at' Town Hall. Mr. Keith also Thanked Council for the donation 2017 After Graduation Party, about 122 students attended plus guest. Mr. Keith informed Council that Suicide rate in Southwest Virginia is two times state average, additional training on Suicide Prevention at Southwest Virginia Higher C.A Angela Carpenter, Director for Russell County Chamber of Commerce, spoke concerning the following events she is currently working on. These include an Annual Town Yard Sale and Christmas Bazaar at the Russell County Conference Center.
