Items for Discussion Events for 2021 Mayor Dodi advised the Town Corncil that he had spoken with Kent Martin with Productions for his thoughts concerning scheduling events for the year 2021 with the SRO COVID pandemic. Mr. Martin assured Mayor Dodi that this was a great concern, but he an answer before the February 8, 2021 Council meeting. would provide CD Rates Mr. Gilmer advised that previously he had indicated that the CD'sa at First Bank & Trust mature in February. After Beverly Stinson, Financial Officer, spoke with First Bank Trust would the CD's actually didn't mature until March 20, 2021. Mr. Gilmer advised that accounts at the present time was only earning a rate of.13% but the accounts at First Bank & Trust was earning a rate of.50%. The Town checking Council and savings possible, to move any funds from the LGIP accounts to the First Bank & Trust until agreed,if & the LGIP increased at LGIP. the rates Landscape Quote from Davis Bros Nursery Mr. Gilmeradvised that Davis Bros Nursery initially provided all the Town and landscaping. Reopening the Town Hall and Lebanon Community Certer Mayor Dodi advised that Virginia Governor's order expires Sunday, January 2021 concerning restrictions for public facilities due to COVID 19. Mr. Blankenship apologized for making a wrong recommendation concerning Bridge Inspection Proposals. The lowest proposal bid actually was Schwartz awarding the amount of $2,200 that has been inspected by RS&H. The quote for Inspection Schwartz for 2020 for the Inc. for the amount of$11,170.00. This quote includes the Bridge & Associates, & Associates, Inc. Council unanimously Aye; Mr. Lambert, would now be $8,970.00.
