A stop sign facing Sweetgum at the Blackgum intersection may be required. lohn Hignett stated the Nerth River Bend project has progressed. B.O.M.U.D. will be asked to move pipes by the dedsoe home: Culverts placed by the sewer plant may possibly be sold. Anna Beth Leger asked about drainage on Davida and on Sweetgum near the Cammack home. Davida will néed 24X.2 culverts for drainage by this: summer. An meeting with the Cammack's and their new: neighbor is nééded before any work can be suggested. Fred Helen (position), ofSouth East Texas Regional Planning Commission introduced his new associate, Sue Mr. Helen spoke ofzoning and annexation: Zoning may call for an election, Planninig and rescarch are essential, Texas Municipal League mailed Zoning information. Erin Galloway is reviewing this data. She suggested after the review, to form a reseurch/plamming committee. The Water Heater must be replaced immediately. M/M/2/C: Purchase new water heater. Legert La Rousse Dogs in estrus are causing problems in Bevil Oaks. Per Ordinance 125 section 5.3 any dog/cat in estrus shall be confined and no other animal may gain access. Building Permits: Robert L. Fisher 13520 Thousand Oaks M/M/2/C: To accept application Hebert/Leger Drainage And Roads: Alan Witsnowski has not applied for building permit. We have no information on elevation and drainage. Conçern for additional loads of dirt will destroy roads. Culverts have been placed on property. Drainage is a problem. DD6 needs to investigate. The city needs to follow through with this matter. A G.P.S. could help the City with elevations. Resurfacing is substandard on Niagra and Davida. More limestone base is needed. Extra materials are: needed for all resurfacing. This should be in all contracts with Pct. One. Drainage would be greatly improved on. River Bend with clearing debris from the area and also cleaning culverts. This ditch is north of the culvert by the Bounds' home on River Bend. Improvement of the ditch and clean out the culvert with help rain overflow from the swimming pool area. Erosion is still a problem near Shipley and Thousand Oaks. Debris is being dumped on River Bend. A crew is needed to clean this up. e gauge difference in Sour Lake and Bevil Oaks is 4.57 feet lower at the bridge on Highway 105. Improvements for City Hall/Civic Center were discussed. Items include; fire/smoke detectors, dead bolt for city office, kitchen faucet, emergency lights with backup power, exit signs and women's restroom sink needs to be installed. Wilbert Denton has installed the new. hot water heater. The dead boit on the City Office door is needed due to theft after the craft show. Only cash was taken. A safe is needed for the office. Anna Beth Leger will check on prices for safes. General repairs and emergency supplies do not need to be voted on in a regular council meeting. The window unit air conditioner needs to be removed and replaced with paneling, and studs. Kidd/Hebert Comments from Citizens: Buddy Hebert stated the gas well is on hold. Marshal James "Crow" Carrico stated a home was robbed on. Rolling Hills. He asked citizens to be more aware ofsuspicious vehicles and individuals and to help with Citizens On Patrol. He also stated, Entergy installed the new. light on Inwood in the wrong place. He and Tom Council reassembled after executive session at 9:49 PM. Tom Cooley asked the Marshal what is the law on threats made on the council. The Marshal stated if threat was made in retaliation for any official action or in the name oft the Cooley will check into this matter. City, itis a felony.
