Board of Voter Registrations & Elections Computation & Canvassing of the December 6, 2022 General Election Runoff December 6, 2022 at7 p.m. to continue until completed at the Voter Registrations & Elections Office 1201 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA 30040  MINUTES  Members Present: Barbara Luth, Chairman Joel Natt, Vice Chairman Dan Thalimer, Assistant Secretary  Carla Radzikinas, Secretary (in attendance before recess) Anita Tucker, Member (in attendance after recess)  1. Call to Order  Chairman Luth called the meeting to order at 7 p.m. with all members present. Sequestration lifted for absentee ballot mail teams and vote review panels. Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Assistant Secretary Thalimer made a motion to recess at 7:01 p.m. for tabulation and canvassing of the December 6, 2022 General Election Runoff. Motion carried 4-0 with Member Tucker absent. 2. Computation and Canvassing of votes, to continue day to day until completed (O.C.G.A. 21-2-493(a)) (due to the nature of the canvassing function, the Board will be moving and active, and may intermittently separate out of and return to a quorum. No votes or action will be taken 3. Board approval to post Unofficial and Incomplete Election Results Chairman Luth reconvened the meeting at 10:49 p.m. after completing the canvassing of votes. Chairman Luth stated that 88,668 votes were cast. The turnout was 54.30%. She reported Hershel Walker received 58,240 votes and Raphael Warnock received 30,390 votes for a total of 88,630 votes. Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Assistant Secretary Thalimer made a motion to publish the unofficial and incomplete results as stated and report them to the Secretary of State. Motion carried 4-0 with Secretary Radzikinas absent.  while performing this canvassing function).  4. Adjourn    Vice Chairman Natt with a second from Assistant Secretary Thalimer made a motion to adjourn at 10:52 p.m. Motion carried 4-0 with Secretary Radzikinas  absent.
