MINUTES  FORSYTH COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE BOARD THURSDAY, MAY11, 2023 @ 10:00 A.M. FORSYTH COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY COMPLEX 3520 Settingdown Road, Cumming, GA 30028  REGULAR MEETING  Present: Tim Perry, Chairman; Jerry Bowman, Vice Chairman; Terry Smith, Member; Jack Allen, Alternate Member; Kathy Echols, Clerk; Absent: Richard Neville, Counsel  I.  Call Meeting to Order  Chairman Perry called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m.  II. Adoption of Agenda  There was a motion by Terry Smith with a second by Jerry Bowman to adopt the agenda  as presented. Motion passed unanimously.  III. Adoption of Minutes  Regular Meeting - April 13, 2023 as presented. Motion passed unanimously. IV. Items for consideration and discussion:  There was a motion by. Jerry Bowman with a second by Terry Smith to adopt the minutes  (1) Attorney Updates - Richard Neville, General Counsel/Hearing Officer (2) Administrative Updates - Kathy Echols, Civil Service Board Clerk  No updates  Ms. Echols informed the Board that an informal appeal had been filed. The discipline had been reduced by the department and no longer met the requirements for an  appeal.  V.  Executive Session (ifneeded)  VI. Adjourn  There was a motion by Jerry Bowman with a second by Terry Smith to adjourn the meeting.
