MINUTES FORSYTH COUNTY CIVIL SERVICE BOARD REGULAR MEETING  THURSDAY,AUGUST 11, 2022 @ 10:00 A.M. FORSYTH COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER 3520 Settingdown Road, Cumming, GA 30028  PRESENT: Terry Smith, Acting Chair; Jack Allen, Alternate Member; Richard Neville, Counsel; Charity Clark, Acting Clerk. ABSENT: Tim Perry, Chair; Jerry Bowman, Vice-  Chair, Kathy Echols, Clerk.  I.  Call Meeting to Order  Chairman Smith recognized a quorum and called the meeting to order at 10:02 a.m. There was ai motion by. Jack Allen with a second by Terry Smith to adopt the agenda as  II. Adoption of Agenda  presented. Motion passed unanimously.  II. Adoption ofl Minutes  Regular Meeting - July 14, 2022 presented. Motion passed unanimously. IV. Items for consideration and discussion:  There was motion by Jack Allen with a second by Terry Smith to adopt the minutes as  (1) Attorney Updates - Richard Neville, General Counsel/Hearing Officer (2) Administrative Updates - Charity Clark, Acting Civil Service Board Clerk Ms. Clark stated for the record that Ms. Echols was currently unavailable and for the (3) Charity Clark, Director- - Employment Services to address the Board concerning Ms. Clark discussed proposed changes to Civil Service Policy 3 - Position Probationary Period and Retention of Regular Status in Original Position. The Board directed Ms. Clark to provide recommended revisions and bring back to a future  Mr. Neville had no updates.  record she would be serving as the Board's Clerk changes to the Civil Service Policy.  meeting.
