December 19, 2023  Thel Logan County Board ofCommissioners met in regular session with the following members present  constituting a quorum oft the members thereof:  Jerry A. Sonnenberg Joseph A. Hearing none, Chairman Sonnenberg  Allegiance.  continued with consent agenda.  The Board continued with the Consent Agenda items:  Approval of minutes ofthe December 5, 2023, meeting.  Acknowledgement of the receipt of the Clerk and Recorder's1 report for the month ofN November 2023. Acknowledgement oft the receipt of the Landfill Supervisor': s report for the month ofl November 2023. Acknowledgement of the receipt of the Sheriff's fee report for the month ofNovember 2023. Commissioner Brownell moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the  motion carried 3-0.  Chairman Sonnenberg continued with New Business:  Chairman Sonnenberg opened aj public hearing testimony phase oft the meeting for Resolution 2023-39 allocating funds tol be received upon the dissolution oft the Logan County Water Conservancy District. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no public comment, closed the public hearing testimony phase.  Commissioner McBride moved to approve Resolution 2023-39 allocating funds in the amount of $4,838,560.44 tol be received upon the dissolution of the Logan County Water Conservancy District. Commissioner Brownell  seconded, and the motion carried 3-0.    Chairman Sonnenberg opened aj public hearing testimony phase oft the meeting for the approval ofal Logan County Lodging Tax Board Project for the 2024 Visitor's Center Budget ini the amount of$11,800.00. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing noj public comment, closed the public hearing testimony phase. Commissioner McBride moved to approve the Logan County Lodging Tax Board Project for the 2024 Visitor's Center Budget in the amount of $11,800.00. Commissioner Brownell seconded, and the motion Chairman Sonnenberg opened aj public hearing testimony phase oft the: meeting for the approval an agreement between Logan County and the Colorado Department ofTransportation (CDOT); the United States Department ofTransportation, Federal Highway Administration Colorado Division (FHWA); and the U.S. Department of the Air Force, Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming (USAF) for extraordinary snow removal on: missile defense access roads. Chairman Sonnenberg seeing no public comment, closed the public hearing testimony Commissioner McBride moved to approve an agreement between Logan County and the Colorado Department ofTransportation (CDOT); the United States Department ofTransportation, Federal Highway Administration - Colorado Division (FHWA); and the U.S. Department oft the. Air Force, Warren Air Force Base, Cheyenne, Wyoming (USAF) for extraordinary snow removal on missile defense access roads and allow the Chair and  carried 3-0.  phase.  Vice Chair to sign. Commissioner Brownell seconded, and the motion carried 3-0.  Other Business  County offices will be closed Friday, December 22 through Monday, December 25, 2023, for Christmas. There will be a special meeting scheduled for Tuesday, December 26, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. at the Logan County  Courthouse.
