September 12, 2023  The Logan County Board of Commissioners met ini regular session with the following members present  constituting a quorum of the members thereof:  Jerry A. Sonnenberg Joseph A. McBride Mike Brownell Also present: Alan Samber Rachelle Stebakken Debbie Unrein Marilee Johnson Darlene Harnly Jeff Rice  Chairman - Excused Absence Commissioner Commissioner  Logan County Attorney Logan County Deputy Clerk Logan County Finance Journal Advocate  Logan County Public Information Officer  Vice Chairman McBride called the meeting to order at 9:32 a.m. and opened the meeting with the Pledge of Vice Chairman McBride asked ift there were any revisions for the agenda. Hearing none, Vice Chairman  Allegiance.  McBride continued with consent agenda. The Board continued with the Consent Agenda items:  Approval of the Minutes of the. August 29, 2023, meeting.  Acknowledge receipt oft the Veteran's Service Officer's monthly report for the month of August, 2023. Acknowledge of the receipt of the Landfill Supervisor'si report for the month of August, 2023. Acknowledge receipt oft the Sheriff's Fee report for the month of August, 2023. Commissioner Brownell moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the  motion carried 2-0.  Vice Chairman McBride continued with Unfinished Business:  Commissioner Brownell moved to approve the contract between Logan County and Lobato Construction, LLC ofBrighton, Colorado for a replacement of Bridge LOG93-60.5-243 crossing a portion of the South Platte River and authorize the Vice Chairman to sign. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the motion carried 2-0.  Vice Chairman McBride continued with New Business:  The Board signed aj proclamation designating the week of September 171 through September 23, 2023 as Constitution Week in Logan County. Commissioner Brownell moved to proclaim the week of September 17 through September 23, 2023 as Constitution Week in Logan County. Commissioner McBride seconded, and the  motion carried 2-0.
